DESIRABLE
CIRCULAR URBANITY

How design practices can leverage

circularity to create desirable urban environments

INVESTMENT ANGLE

Faced with many challenges, cities stand at a pivotal crossroads.  Urban development represents a key component of the transition of cities. In Quebec, the built environment represents 34% of its material impact and 27% of its waste, underscoring the urgent need for innovative solutions (Circle Economy, 2021).

Design professions possess a unique power, shaping our spaces and everyday objects. Circularity offers a transformative approach to building and renovating our cities, addressing both current and future challenges.

Our approach combines the expertise of designers with circular economy principles, creating new models that unlock significant economic opportunities. By incorporating innovative design, metabolism thinking and new forms of urban living into neighborhood projects, we contribute to desirable cities.

Creative Capital is currently building a consortium of designers, investors, developers, experts,  planners and innovative companies. Together, we are exploring the future and forging opportunities while shaping a desirable urbanity —vibrant, resilient, captivating and fair for all.
