In Quebec, the demand for affordable housing is reaching critical levels. An insufficient offer combined with side effects from COVID on the housing market have swelled up housing prices. Many can no longer afford a home that fits their needs. It is particularly evident in the greater Montreal area, where nearly 200,000 households struggle due to the lack of accessible housing options (Observatoire du Grand Montréal, 2022). 

The construction of new affordable housing has become a top priority, driving us to swiftly innovate in creating living spaces.  Our strategy aims to ensure that the new housing, which must be rapidly built, will not only be affordable but also attractive, economically sound, and sustainable for those who will call it home.
